Ranjit Barik and Anshuman Behera fetched host Orissa two more gold medals by winning the under-15 boys’ 75kg and 69kg events on the penultimate day of the National Kickboxing Championship at KIIT University campus in Bhubaneswar today.
Orissa also claimed four silver and eight bronzes in the day to increase its tally to 10 golds, eight silvers and 12 bronzes. Maharashtra (5+6+7) and Manipur (4+2+3) followed Orissa at the second and third positions respectively.
Orissa’s other medal winners of the day included Debansh Das, Debanand, Nepal Kurtuke, Jatia Munda (one silver each): Anshuman, Swarna, Manish Mohra, Avishek Biswa, Souhardya Rit, Suryakant, Ajit Bhumi, A R Bage (one bronze each).
